![]() I prefer CrossOver 15 but for now, this is fine. TD DR: for me, with my graphics hardware and build (macOS 10.12.1), I was able to log into the game and play under PlayOnMac with Wine 1.7.22-d3dforce. This was the case but hasn’t been for maybe 6 ish months for PlayOnMac. ![]() AoY loading screen was no longer than any other patch day. ![]() for me, the sweet spot that finally got me to the AoY loading screen (TOS bridge) was 1.7.22-d3dforce (I dunno, it stood out among the many 1.7 builds and sounded like something that might pertain here) But thanks for the suggestion on 1.6.2, as that ultimately led me to start with a lower boundary and play around with Wine versions in the middle. I did however check a couple of months back whether PlayOnMac still works, but I couldnt get it to work due to Big Sur dropping support for 32-bit applications. When I first started playing 3DXChat in 2015, I used PlayOnMac, but I have since got a Windows PC. So I recommend that anyone unable to launch under either start with 1.9.0-staging and work down. From what I understand this will only work on Intel Macs for now. With 1.6.2 as recommended by some, launcher wouldn't come up at all for me, at least on a rMBP with integrated graphics card. With 1.9.0-staging, the launcher was good but crashed on the Cryptic screen. Why are most windows games not available to play on macMacs and MacBooks are great they are reliable, secure, durable, and they rarely experience any. ![]() I had to keep downgrading until I found a Wine build that worked. I posted the below in the Bug Report thread but thought I would xp to share what I learned through trial and error on PlayOnMac (normally using CrossOver 15 until the Artifacts launch) ![]()
